MountainBug is expanding!

We're delighted to announce that because we've been so busy over the last few years, we need to expand so we can offer more people outdoor activity holidays in the Pyrenees.

As part of this, we have two new business partners, Kara and Martin Stanford. They moved permanently to Bareges, French High Pyrenees. to join MountainBug in early November and are currently hosts at the Mountainbug chalet, Les Cailloux.

Martin and Kara bring a wealth of business experience and knowledge to MountainBug as well as a passion for the outdoors and active life.

Another part of our expansion is the imminent opening of the Hotel Du Tourmalet, Bareges. MountainBug founders, Robert and Emma Mason, are completely renovating to the highest standard a Napoleonic building to a 3 star hotel. This 19 room hotel, with its own restaurant, cafe and bar will be ready to host more MountainBug customers from February 2012.

Welcome to MountainBug News. This is where you'll find out about our news and events.
About us
We're experts in walking holidays, multi-activity holidays, cycling, canyoning, skiing and snow-shoe holidays in the Pyrenees, the natural border between France and Spain.

We're based in the traditional French Pyrenean mountain village of Bareges. Bareges is part of the Grand Tourmalet ski resort (Bareges-La Mongie), which is the largest ski domain in the French Pyrenees and a perfect location for summer walking and activity holidays.
